Have you ever spent hours working on something, checked it through thoroughly and been sure everything was correct, only to discover when it’s too late that there is a glaring error that you can’t believe you missed?

I was preparing a reflection on Chapter 1 of ‘Shattering Glass Ceilings’ for a study group and it hit me, right at the beginning, the Bible reference was wrong.  How could I have missed it?  I know that reference perfectly well, it’s one of those Bible texts that is fixed in my head because of it’s special relevance to me; so how did I make that mistake and then not pick it up when proof-reading?

If you look you’ll see it says 1Peter3:1, it should say, 1John3:1.

So apologies to anyone who actually noticed the error.   Note to self, must do better!
